'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

Bisping and Evans up next, I fancy Evans to show up Bisping tonihgt, although Bisping loos bigger than I ever remember him.
Poor event, not for the first time recently either

Bisping is an a##hole, said it after the Hamill fight and he proved it yet again on Sunday. No class. Everyone has a fight they feel they deserved to win and don't and you deal with it - he got what he deserved in a poor fight and threw his dummy out of the pram. Interview with Joe Rogan after the fight stank - kept insisting he should have won the fight and no honour in defeat

Surprised by Alexander getting overpowered, he has looked awesome in his last few fights when he has simply battered his opponents but Silva stood up to him and when he took him down Alexander couldn't deal with it. Everyone will have noticed this as a weakness and he'll have to adapt his game accordingly - as you say at his age can he do it though?

Disappointed with Parisyan, deserved his win but not a good performance. Cited personal issues as an excuse in his interview but big fan of his so hope he will come back stonger next time

      Nothing else worth mentioning really

can't argue with any of that.
I always knew Alexander was one dimensional though, there is no way he was going to get to the top at his age, just based on early explosiveness, there is a little more to him than that, but not much more. Thiago Silva I was impressed by.

Seen his fight against Silva tonight, or last night in the states, was unimpressed with Alexander, showed himself up to be very one dimensional fighter. At 35, how long more can he go, surely he is a good few fights away from a title fight now.
I think that's a bit premature. Houston is fairly new to the UFC and has a lot to learn about the ground game, but he has enough power to overcome most opponents. That fight could've been all over had Houston connected with a couple within the first minute, but sometimes they land, sometimes they don't. There are no unbeaten champions, that's the great thing about the UFC.

He may be 35 but he's in great shape. He'll be back, and better for this.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

He will always have a punchers chance, and I know he seems to have burst nto the scene. But I do fear for his chances of evr inning a title now at his age.

Fair points and Houston is a helluva puncher, I just think future opponents would have identified a major weakness and will go after it. We hadn't seen him on the ground as he generally knocked the sh1t out of everyone in the first 60 seconds so maybe this was just an off day but he did look a bit lost on the ground so interesting to see how he comes back

His age won't help, just cannot understand why he only appeared so late in the day - as you say he is in awesome shape and that just didn't happen overnight
