    Duddy Vs Pavlik?

This would be a very, very, good fight.

From the limited amount of times I've seen Duddy he looks a very good fighter and Pavlik as we all know can bang a bit. This would be a superb fight.

    Your thoughts?

Think Duddy would do well to last 5 myself. Nice tune up for Pavlik.

To be honest, I've not seen too much of each fighter, but it should be a good fight. Am obviously hoping for a Duddy win
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Nothing ignorant in that, mate. Not many people know who he is and to be honest I'd never heard of him until about a year ago.

Basically he's an Irish boxer now residing in New York. He's been making big waves over there and getting alot of rave reviews from the American press.

He has an impressive record, 21 fights, 21 wins, 15 ko's, I have absolutely no idea of the calibre of his opponents though but 9 ko wins in the first round suggests to me that they might not have been all that.

He holds a world title but only a minor one, the IBA belt.

( I got the majority of the above info from wiki )

He's got a fight coming up in Ireland, this weekend...I think, Not sure whether it's on the box though.

As I said he's highly rated over in the states and he's been on Sky twice recently. Sky were raving about him and I have to say that from what I saw, which was limited, I was impressed but I'm not sure whether he was that good or his opponent was that ****e.
