          What about Ian Botham who lived as a tax exile on a Channel Island somewhere for years, maybe still does, but does a huge amount of charity work in this country?

          What are your thoughts on him Red Chilli?

            He's paid his dues to this country, he didn't live off the system for 20 odd years, get a modicum of success and then bugger off to a tax haven after 1 year.

            And even if Hamilton HAD done this BE HONEST ABOUT IT. Don't lie and tell us he wants to avoid the media. It ****ing bull****, if it was true he'd insist on no more public appearances except for F1. I imagine there will be books about him, TV programs are already out there, hundreds of interviews, adverts....the list is endless.

                very true, so many drivers live abroad for tax reasons, but no one announces it and makes a song and dance about it.

                  Precisely one day after he was on TY crying about the media attention, he turns up on the NATIONAL TV AWARDS to present a gong to Jeremy ****ing Clarkson.

                                Im a fan of him but you cant complain about public attention when you put yourself in the public eye off the track.
