It's non-alcoholic Foxy, I think it's a cracking way to present yourself. He was well known for downing so many pints so to show that he's moved on to non-alcoholic stuff is good news surely.

He does look quite bad but any person who's lost that amount of weight that quickly will look like that
Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

Can't be healthy to lose that much weight so quickly can it?

Thats fair enough that its non alcoholic

...but he's lost to much weight in such a short space of time is not good for him and his body must be all saggy and horrible.

He's balance is probably fooked too and i wonder if he can still play darts

I've a cousin who lost 11 stone in a year. The doctor said he was more at risk after he'd lost it because he'd done it way too quick. Had to have operations to get the skin stapled.

TBH I think Fordham might have needed to lose the weight that quick, he was absolutely huge so was probably knocking on death's door. When it gets to the stage of nearly losing your life then you shouldn't really give a **** what you'll look like in a few months

I'm delighted for Fordham even though he does look quite awful

As for the darts, he'll get used to it after a while. It's all about getting used to the condition you're at at the time.

                    Then:

                    Now:

Andy Fordham will make an emotional return to world darts tomorrow — half the man he used to be.

Fordham has lost an amazing 10 stones since collapsing at the World Championships 10 months ago and being rushed to hospital where he had 18 litres drained from his lungs.

He also suffered a minor stroke this year, forcing him to change his whole lifestyle — although he still weighs 16 stone.

He will compete in the play-offs for the 2008 World Pro tomorrow and then in the Winmau World Masters which start on Friday, both events being staged in Bridlington.

Fordham, who now drinks only non-alcoholic lager and eats in a week what he used to consume in a couple of days, said: 'To return to Lakeside next January for the World Championships would be magic and to get to the televised stages of the World Masters this weekend would be unbelievable, but I'm not expecting any miracles.'

Fordham reached the semi-finals of an Open event in Turkey in September, but he is relishing this comeback in a world event. 'This is a major stepping stone to getting back to better things,' he said.
