This looks like tis going to be a cracker, if it lasts long enough that is lol.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Freitas - Barrios, two knockouts in the one round, take note of the second one, youtube quality doesnt do much justice though.

This kinda reminds me of Mayweather V Gatti fight, When Gatti knew he was beaten by the far superior technical boxer very early on. Guzman is looking good, and heavy, first time I have seen him fight.

Guzman diminated that fight and I'm at a loss as to why one of the judges scored it for Barrios and the other 2 had it quite a tight decision. Guzman won and he deserved to.

Perhaps junior Witter should watch that fight and see what a world title fight should actually be like.

Keep your eye on Vazquez in the next fight because this guy has the fastest hands I've ever seen.

He's a good fighter. Scott Harrison was due to fight him last winter but the fight got cancelled. On tonights evidence and from what I've seen of Guzman before Harrison got off lightly.

Will do, that guzman chap looked like a power house in comparrison to barrios. I guess that one judge liked the come forward style of Barrios. Much like the Hatton fight.

Yeah that could have been the case but Guzman was dominant IMHO.

This fight isn't going as I thought it would. I think Vazques is struggling with the bigger man.

What a fight! 2 knockdowns a piece and a K.O. I thought Vazquez would win at the start but it was a harder fight than I thought!!

I hope sky show the fight but it hasn't been announced yet...

Just been announced that Baldomir V's Mayweather will be live on sky sports 1 Saturday 4th Sunday 5th November at 2.00A.M.

Barrera ruined that fight, as the man says, clearly has retirement and going out unbeaten in his sights.

Am I glad I didn't stay up for the Barrera fight! Just watched it without knowing the result and although Barrera fought a smart fight, it wasn't half dull.

The Guzman-Barrios fight was ****ing brilliant...thoroughly enjoyed it. Mental opening flurry at the first bell. First time I've seen Guzman and he looks some fighter.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Not watched it yet...it was the third fight on the "replay" and had to switch it off after the first two. Still got it in the 'planner' though...worth watching yeah?
