Cena is pushed down the fans throats due to the fact he sell loads of Merchandise. Without Cena somebody else will step up and take his place, When Hogan left Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels stepped up, when they left Austin, Rock, HHH since they left it has gone downhill and the constant pushing of Cena has done nothing to increase ratings.

Others are there though, Orton is boring but a decent heel, Kennedy will be top when he gets a chance, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla has just returned, add to that HHH, Michaels and that shows there should be some good feuds n the future.
    We come not to play.

I disagree - granted they squeezed everything they could out of cena - but they had to cause there is no one else to carry the show or pick up where he has left off. As u say Orton is boring to me he just doesn't have enough about him to be a superstar, Triple H has still got a decent story line in him - but for ****s sake Shaun Micheals - he is a has been, and it shows how **** is has gone that they still have him turning out - jeez i remember shaun micheals turning on Marty Janity when they were the rockers and kicking him through the window of brutus the barber beefcakes barber shop!!!!!!!

          Me?

No i didn't really like Austin or Hogan, guys who are unbeatable.

Having said that i still like Taker (his unbeatable character is down to his supernatural deadman powers), now he's a legend.

I prefer the likes of Hart, Michaels, Angle, Guerrero, Jericho and Beniot (the wrestler not the murderer)

Classic that, superkicking Jannety and turning heel.

Micheals a fit Michaels is as good if not better then most wrestlers out there, he is good on the mic, a brilliant wrestler even to this day, can play heel or face no problems.

Cena is your Hulk Hogan, unbeatable goodie two shoes. which of his fueds have been memorable?

Agree about Orton, he doesn't have the Star power and presence to be at the top, personally i would have put the belt on Kennedy.

              - Undertaker is a ****ing legend, my other favourites as a kid were Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man and Jake the Snake - those guys were legends

Hitman was good too - never been a fan of michaels tho - as mentioned above about him being in the rockers - i loved the rockers and was gutted when he turned into a **** and nailed janity (sp?)

speaking of tag teams - they don't make 'em like they used too either

Legion of Doom and the Bushwhackers!!!!!!

Yep i was a Warrior mark too, Jake the Sake was brilliant on the mic, wwe should bring him in a teach the likes of Orton and Lashley this skill.

Did you know the Nasty Boys had a tryout matchout on Smackdown (wont be shown on TV though) yjey thought they were big stars and peed off every back stage

i quite enjoyed his feuds with the great khali - can't remember which event it was but when he fu'd him on the crane was pretty good - i know what u mean tho about the 'Hero' - Hogan/Cena etc - thats the way the americans are tho the have to have an all american wholesome hero great guy to look up to - they are lost without one. One thing i will say about Cena tho - form my own opinion is - i loved wrestling when i was 9-13 - never really watched it much over the last 10 years until about a year ago when my flat mate had it on and was watching john cena - i started watching got interested again and watched it regulary for the last few months following cena - since he has been injured i have slowly started losing interest

the nasty boys - forgot bout them - they were class too. Yeah I agree about Snake - orton kind of reminds about him, he certainly has a sly look/streak about which jake the snake perfected - havin him in the background would prob help orton loads

I liked Austin when he first started his 3.16 malarkey & feud with vinny mac.

Hogan is just a leg-end ironically i liked him better as a heel in nWo.

Taker has been totally destroyed recently. i enjoyed watching him when he first started and had great feuds with yokozuna etc. Now he is unrecognisable.

Never liked Benoit as a wrestler. Thought his character was boring despite his great mat skills.

Agree with you Hogan NWO point.

The thing that has given longevity to Taker is the way his character changes through the years, he's not the same taker the debut in Ted Diabeses team at Survivor Series. He's getting old and passing the torch to some worthy younger guys.

He has ruined his legendary status by doing this for so long.

He should have retired ages ago
