He was on the pitch at half time for the Nottm Forest vs Crewe match last Saturday. After he'd done his bit on the pitch, there was still around 10 mins of half time to go. Carl spent the whole time signing autograph after autograph for kids that had ran down the front of the stand. All the while he was chatting to the kids, and posing for photos for anyone who wanted one. He could easily have just walked down the tunnel with the rest of the group that were on the pitch, but instead he was happy to stay out for as long as possible talking to his fans. It reminded me that he did the same after his fight at the Nottingham Arena last year that I went to, when he came back out into the crowd to sign autographs and chat to people while the next fight was taking place.
Whatever anyone thinks of his boxing ability, he's a great ambassador for the sport. Good to see.
