    Australia cricket team

Given that they have lost Warne, McGrath over the year or so are they still the premier cricket team in world?

I've caught some of the test vs India and it appears as though they have continued with the form of the last 15 or so years i,e, beating all comers.

Are the reports of the demise of Australian cricket greatly exaggerated?

I've been really impressed with the likes of Stuart Clark in the last few days watching the test

Clake is the second coming of Mcgrath, he hits the same spot every time. He's a quality bowler. Theres a few young lads waiting in the wings too.

Its a bit boring tbh, test matches being over in 3 days every time gets tiresome.

India had a chance in the first innings but capitulated big time. Dravid needs to take a good look at himself, for the match he batted for around 4 hours for what 25 odd runs? Pathetic. Im glad Johnson got a few wickets too.

Is Clarke not in his early 30's? Not saying he's not a good bowler but he's not going to be around in 5 - 10 years is he.

What about a replacement for Warne. Are there any spinners on the horizon who could, in theory, replace Warne?

Yeah Clarky is around the 30 mark, but he is just gettig better and better.

In regards to Warnies replacement, we have a leg spinner called Cullen Bailey, he is not bad, still pretty young, and an offie by the name of Dan Cullen, he is very promising.

Clarke can play top level for another 5 years hopefully. Also have Tait and Bracken pushing for selection. Spin bowling is a problem area. I hope the 2 blokes Harvey B mentioned come good but they are both struggling to get a game for their state side at the moment. They are both quite young however and have time on their side. Macgill is the real tragedy. He has waited all this time to replace Warney and then goes and hurts himself. Macgill actually has a very, very good test record and I hipe he decided to keep playing

I'd rather Cullen Bailey make the step up than Dan Cullen.

Can't ****ing stand Dan Cullen. How ****ing gay is he, that gay thing he does with his shirt sleeves, plus he's an arrogant ****. He may be good at cricket, but i don't like him.

They're still the best at the moment but the gap is a lot narrower.
