I can see India chasing about 300/350 on the final day which would be interesting

He has been cited for allegedly calling Symonds a 'monkey'. The hearing will be after the test in finished on Sunday. Big news over here in the sports pages after what happened to Symonds in India a few months back with the monkey chants and so on.
"I watched the Champions League quarter-finals and the way they crushed Arsenal. Only the greatest and the best can play such a match.

Just been reading about it on the BBC website..................
                Harbhajan has protested his innocence.

"I did not say anything racist," he told Saturday's Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. "I do not know what is going on. I haven't done anything, we were just talking.

"It wasn't even sledging, it was just normal talk out on the cricket field. I was concentrating on my batting."

Procter confirmed the umpires themselves had not heard anything untoward.

Former England captain Tony Greig claimed the Australians were guilty of employing double standards.

"No one can tell me that there is not a bit of verbal going in the direction of the Indians from the Australians and every now and then in the heat of the moment something comes back the other way," said Greig.

"It seems to me, I don't want to be too nasty about it but the Australians find it a bit difficult to deal with some of these issues when the going is a bit tough."

Probably a lot of truth in what Tony Greig says as imo I don't think the Aussies are used to getting some stick especially when they are under pressure because they normally steamroller teams.

Greig is spot on. Indian's get loads of verbal from the Aussies. Panesar was also racially abused by Aussie fans when they toured a while back. The other day a load of fans were subjected to abuse but the papers don't mention that. Ask the Aussies about it and they just say it's normal

I doubt there was any racist remarks by Bhaj. Just the fact that the Aussies struggled to get him out on the day

No doubt thats true in respect to Monty as it was about Symonds and the monkey chants in India but tony greig is confusing the issue. the issue is not about sledging, its about racial slurs (allegedly). the 2 teams apparently met before the series started and agreed that there was no room for racial slurs out in the middle. greig is saying that ponting is squealing whilst ponting is pissed off that an agreement has breached. Just to further piss the aussies off harbarjhan did a lap of the scg after he got ponting out.

Aussies have hated India since 2001 (i think?) when we ended their 16 tests wins in a row and then came back to dick em in the series

Ever since the 'sledging' has increased big time.

The fact Sachin has come out and backed Bhaji since and he was stood right next to him and Sachin is one hell of a honest guy tells me theres nothing in it. Also the umpires who were just a few metres away didn't hear anything.

Just the aussies crying over the fct it looks like we will stop their world record attempt again

And that Bhaji ripped them apart in 2001 when he took summit like 30+ wickets in 2 tests to lead us to victory, bitter cunts

The aussies like giving it out but when they get some back, they start crying about it.

But like Dee said if Bhaji said anything, he does seserved to be punished and he will be

You got a link to Sachin's quotes?

like you say if Sachin has backed Bhaji then i find this story hard to believe

                              Bhaji is his nemesis...

If Sachin has come out and backed him then I trust him. If he has said anything racist then he deserves to be punished - although it would be convenient for the Aussies if he played no further part in the test series.

Quote from a banner at the SCG...

"Commit all your crimes when Sachin is batting, they will go unnoticed because even The Lord is watching"
