my mistake, youre quite right, it was 2-1. the final test was when oz only had to get 106 and were bowled out for 93! michael clarke took 6-9 and hrbajhn took a 5 for and the other test was washed out or rain affected.

i wasn't gloating about India beating the aussies in 2001, i was just mentioning that was the point when things got abit heated between the two sides and that the aussies wern't to happy with bhaji since then (Ian Harvey admitted this yesterday on tv)

Apologies , I obviously misunderstood your comments and got all patriotic for a few minutes. A lot of bad feeling does date back to that series and there were suggestions here that harbi wound the aussies up by claiming his english was limited (at the time) but he knew the affect certain words like 'c*nt' had on the aussie players

I've always preferred Lara, but still recognise Sachin as one of the all time greats.

Everytime i see or hear about Lara i think back to one of the great cricket sledges of all time.

What an ending to the match! Unbelievable. With 5 overs to go it looked dead-set for a draw. Even with 3 and a half left it looked almost impossible to win. Up steps Michael Clarke and some magic! One of the best endings to a match I have ever seen. Go the Aussies - 16 on the trot. Now for the record in Perth.

Agreed it was a great finish but................ The standard of umpiring has been absolutely diabolical, Bucknor was at it again today with the dismissal of Dravid, the bat was nowhere near the ball yet he still gave him out, incredible! Sure the Aussies now have a chance of getting the 17th straight win in a row, which would be a magnificent achievment, but if the two incompetent clowns who umpired the game had just given the straight forward decisions correctly there could quite probably have been a very different outcome.
