Are you lot (besides the Aussies) able to hear yourselves? You are rattling on about Australia's unsportsmanlike behaviour, yet you try to defend Singh's racist comment. He wouldn't have been found guilty just on hearsay for fooks sake. Wake up. And the decisions did go against India from the umpires but they were still only playing for a draw. When they get to the level where they can actually try to win the match then you can get on your high-horses, but until then, cop on to yourselves."Every time i sit around i find i'm shot."

Martin - not defending the comment (other than my post on whether Singh knew Symonds was of WI origin - I didn't)
Just can't believe the audacity of the Aussies to complain. Pathetic.

Audacity to complain about a racial slur? harbi has form on this issue as well. sledging is fine but not when its crosses the line into racism. the captains apparenty agreed before the series that words like 'monkey' were out of order. the captains are also under pressure from the ICC to report instances of racism. ponting clearly feels that an agreement has been broken. I think Kumble went over the top with his comments in retrospect. He's got some nerve complaining when the Indians have made over appealing and umpire intimidation an art form."I watched the Champions League quarter-finals and the way they crushed Arsenal. Only the greatest and the best can play such a match.

-Racist comments should be dealt with harshly if there's evidence of it.
-What the **** is with the umpire? I thought it was exaggeration until I actually saw the decisions. Staggeringly **** decisions, and cost one side massively more than the other, never seen anything like it!
-Also, can somebody please lie the saying "that's just not cricket" to rest please, there's **** all honour and sportsmanship left in the game judging by all this.Like blood on iron

I think it's more their view of double standards, because Australians were also abusive. (I await to see what's proven about the monkey insult)Originally posted by tommyg View PostIndians may feel hard done by in terms of poor decisions and such, but to just up and leave after 2 tests? talk about having a f**kin sook
It should have been sorted out in the changing rooms/bar afterwards.Quote of the year :

Out of order if he did, but innocent until the allegation is substantiated by a third party - I mean they have so many microphones and cameras at games they should be able to sort this out. Well done India for flexing some muscle and standing by their man.Last edited by Tee; 07-01-08, 04:42 PM."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley
