Sorry mate but there were not sell out crowds for the games, in fact 1 day cricket is on a downhill spiral in this country so much so that the triangular series concept is finished. From next summer it will be replaced.

And really if youre putting 1 day cricket on a par with test cricket in terms of importance and prestige we'll agree to disagree. I dont reckon the Aussies were crying in their beer cos they lost the 1 days series . India can win every 1 day tournament from here to kingdom come as far am Im concerned-its meaningless in the same way 20/20.

If ODI cricket is on a downward spiral why don't they just stop playing ODI cricket...they've only got rid of the Triangular tournament...will still pay a shortened ODI series instead of it. I never said ODI cricket is on a par with Test Cricket. The comments I and others make about 20/20 etc are sarcastic cos we won the Tournament. Obviously Test Cricket is the ultimate test for any cricketer and in my opinion has become a lot more interesting to watch compared to a few years ago.

The best team won the ODI's. The best team won the Test Series. I'm happy with the improvements India hav made in both forms of the game, especially since our World Cup debacle

Good for you you don't give a rats arse about one day cricket. Stick to watching and commenting on Test Cricket then and leave the ODI's to people that actually have an interest in them and enjoy watching them!
