While over in Vegas, the vast majority of yanks I tried to talk to about boxing prefered MMA. Boxing still and will always have its place, but MMA and the UFC in particular are starting to become the big draw in the states. Was even talking to one who liked prize fighting(bareknuckle), felt almost as if they were trying to rope me into it.

Have you watched much of it Shaggy?, it is sriously addictve if you catch it on a good night.
I think also, when people get to know the different styles of different fighters, it can make it fascinating to see the clash of styles at such a high level. IT can be very intense stuff.

Same here to be honest. My brothers a big fan. Iv actually got one of his dvds at the minute, UFC big hits volume 1, or something like that, i might watch it later.

If you like the boxing, I think if you catch the UFC of a good night on Bravo you could well have a new hobby (watching not fighting)
