Is he arrogant? I thought everyone said he was all right.

They also say he has been unwell and has been well below full fitness throughout the tournament.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

He's in no way arrogant - the complete opposite in fact.

Great sportsmanship and fantastic individual. Closer to Sampras in character, understated guy who despite all his talent, takes nothing for granted.

Yes Federer had a stomach problem in the lead up to the tournament and missed a warm-up event as a result.

I'm facing a moral quandary. If I always want the fittest-looking woman to win, does that mean I don't appreciate the true nature of the sport?
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Good to see more competitors for the Grand Slams. After US Open, it was clear that Djokovic would pick his game up but beating Federer in the semis is brilliant.

He's probably the greatest tennis player ever to have lived and I haven't heard an arrogant remark or witnessed an arrogant deed.
