I have never thought highly of Taylor to be honest, I dont think Pavlik is exceptional but I think he will stop Taylor again. Gonna watch this if its on somewhere as I think it could be a decent scrap.

Depends on Taylors head, if he goes into bellend mode like against Spinks then he'll get knocked out again. He's more talented than Pavlik but has nowhere near the heart or workrate.

I had a few hours kip before the fight, and ended up waking up at the start of round 6.
From what i saw the fight looked closer than how the judges scored it.
Im gunna re-watch the fight later and see how the first 5 rounds were.

Had Taylor 5-4 up after 9 but he was ****ed by then and lost the final 3. The decision was right imo although 117-111 was taking the piss a bit.

Got to agree with you there.

117 - 111 was ridiculous.

Taylor showed more in two fights with Pavlik then he did in his fights with Hopkins and his entire tenure as middle weight champ.

Just re-watched the full fight. I had Pavlik win by 2 points. I felt it was very close up until the last few rounds when Taylor tired.
It was a hard one to score, as Pavlik ws doing all the pressing, and Taylor was showing some nice counters.

Just read some talk of a possible fight between Taylor and Kessler, that would be a fight id like to see.

Nah, due to their styles Kessler would kick Taylors ass. Id prefer Kessler vs Pavlik, both good come forward, strong, aggressive fighters.

Kessler is my second fave boxer in that division and id fancy him to beat either but Pavlik defo the harder option.

I thought scoring a boxing match was like scoring ice skating. Impossible except to the chosen few.

Yeah i think Kessler would be too much for Taylor, id like to see it though.
I like Kessler , havent heard nothing about him since the Calzaghe fight, hopefully he will be back in the ring again soon.

Yeah mate, that sounds about right. the judge who gave 117-111 was way off the mark i reckon.

Im not sure if Kessler was there, i hope so as i think Kessler VS Taylor or Pavlik, would be a great fight.
