    Kimbo v Tank

Well, it lasted as long as expected - I would seriously hate to anger Kimbo in any way.

Is he legit? Time will tell on that.

He is one dangerous dude - but did you see his fight with Irish cop Gannon? Took a bit of a pasting.

At this moment Kimbo is not legit. He's not fought anyone.

I agree to a point. Admittedly, his opponents thus far have not exactly been of a high quality, but his punching speed, power and accuracy gives him a certain legitimancy. As with all new fighters however, how good he will become depends on the other areas of his game. He could well be another Huston Alexander who gets totally exposed when he goes to the ground.

The jury will be out until we see that happen.

Do get the feeling though that he could make a good fighter.

Seen a few of his fights, usually him beating up a weaker opponent with both men showing no cardio what so ever.
But Kimbo with cardio and technique is a different prospect altogether.
If he is all he makes out that he is, why doesnt he fight another up and commer to MMA instead of the 42 year old Tank, let me see, why not someone like....................Brock Lesnar
I think Brock would seriously kick his ass in fairness though.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I take your point with regards to punching power, hand speed and accuracy but any MMA fighter worth their salt will not stand and trade with Kimbo as they will be knocked out. They'll look to take him to the ground as soon as the fight starts.

I agree completely on the last two post's. I have no illusions of Kimbo being top, top class - but I think he can be a good fighter. Bas Rutten cetainly see's something there and thats enough to make me ponder what potential lies hidden or currently unused.

I say a show where they measured Bas Rutten hitting a crash test dummy and his punches and kicks where just like a car crash
