Jaipur, Hyderabad and Delhi look like early favourites for my support.

Just hope this is on Sky!!

            Not even on Sky?

Just adds to the pointlessness of it all. Seriously, who actually gives a **** about this? I can understand Indians having some loyalty to the clubs but as for the rest of us?

            Pointless gimmicky ****e.

It's the Indian Premier League, you don't get coverage of Englands 20/20 league in India.

Yeah I'm sure the event will be exclusive to India and India alone

Sure it will be shown in plenty of countries.

I just don't see why you seem to be calling it pointless unless its being shown in the UK.

Well it's pointless anyway (unless you'd like to attempt to explain to me just what exactly the point is?) but the fact it's not on the world's biggest and most-viewed sporting network seems to render it even more pointless than it is anyway.

we dont know who has the rights yet but if Sky can afford to televise The Caribean 20/20 cup i'm sure they'll want to show this

The point in this league is to counter the 'Breakaway league' which has been set up. Also the fact that every single game will be sold out, Indians live for cricket (so satisfying millions and millions of people) also having a load of star playing with local talent is just gonna be ace for the the local players learning of the stars.

They obviously plan to sell it world wide once they have it set up. No doubt they will try to get it on sky. But whether sky will be willing to pay big bucks for this.............

Sky will pay for it. Some of the best players in the world in a viewer friendly format - no brainer.
