I hope so. There will be some great games with those players involved.

Interesting to see Shoaib Akhtar and Ganguly in the same team. That should be interesting.

Some right talent playing in this league. The likes of Tiwry and Raina. It's going to be a good watch me thinks. Shaggy, subscribe to an indian channel and you'll be able to watch it.

I'd probably watch if it was on - I must confess it's intriguing seeing this blend of players.

One of the many problems IMO is that these teams aren't actually teams at all. Just a load of names cobbled together in a seemingly completely random fashion. T20 never provides a true cricketing test anyway but this could be even more of a mockery with some players inevitably not giving much of a **** and just picking up their hefty pay cheques.

You only have to look at the recent performances of the 'Rest of the World' XI to see that a lot of these players don't appear to take this sort of cricket too seriously and you can't just click your fingers and summon a load of team spirit.

How seriously is this being taken in India? Will it mean a lot to the fans of these teams? Are the teams being made up from scratch or do they exist anyway? In which case, what's happening to the players who'd normally make up these teams? Will teams be mainly made up of 'stars' with a couple of locals thrown in?

Shall I ask a few more questions?
