4. All stewards could wear bright vests and the driver could swerve round them

To be fair while F1 sucks rugby is a great sport and even if you like American Football dismissing it to prove a point is every bit as bad as what you rail against. Also which code of rigby are you complaining about?

I like both Rugby and American Football.

My point was that 'El Diego' probably thinks the way most people do on here when people talk about the NFL.... It's a cheap rip off of Rugby.

I don't understand F1, don't watch it and couldn't even tell you who the drivers are. I made a point to Pete who after watching one NASCAR race found ways to improve the sport which would not work on oval track racing.

Comparing NASCAR to F1 is like apples and oranges IMHO.

A lot of American sport is so stop start, a few seconds of action then two minutes of break is this due to TV or the short attention span of American sports fans?

I imagine that that its the tv that contains lots of adverts. and that htis has also driven a really short attention span.
