    Well played Curtley

I would have put money on him not lasting long after making the ton though.

Great haul for Anderson, fair play to him. I said earlier in the thread that I didn't really rate him but there's no doubt he did a great job in conditions that suited him very well.

He is, look at his record and you can see it, New Zeland are a **** test nation and we shouldn't be losing to them.

Yeah but Forlan scored twice at Anfield and he's still a bag of wank

Anderson isn't great, when the ball doesn't swing he's about as effective as a Harmison with no pace or bounce.

                  His form is woeful.

Cook has just top-edged his first EVER six in any form of international cricket!

He's another one who could do with a score.

Cook and Strauss going along steadily, England leading by 220-odd.

Will take a ****up of England proportions for England to lose this Test.

Mark Gillespie looks like Connor out of Neighbours.

We could do with speeding things up a bit after lunch. Steady stuff, but a touch dull.

                        And that's four!

106/1 at lunch. Will be interesting to see when Vaughan decides enough is enough. They could really go for it, post a 400+ lead and give the NZ openers a few overs tonight or just keep plodding along. Would like to see option A myself but doubt it'll happen.

No point in declaring IMO, there's 8 sessions left!

Give the bowlers 4 or 5 sessions to bowl them out.

Having said that, we're only 250 ahead so lets not start talking targets yet. Let's bat them out of the game first

Perfect test cricket IMO, plod along, no risks, build a solid platform, then start opening up on them tonight when they're tired.
