    MLB Thread

    as there isnt one thought i'd start one as the season as just begun. tbh doubt if there's much interest round these parts but i do hope some will join me in wishing opponents of the texas rangers well.

    red sox starting well and should be the team to beat and will hopefully crush the manure affliated yankees. for those of us finding 18 years a long time look up the curse of the bambino and see even longer suffering.

    as a last thought should there just be a north american sports thread as the nfl draft is around the corner and hoops fans should be in there element atm.

    Good game earlier. Red Sox nearly threw it away though if it hadn't been for Browns base running gaffe.

    Tigers and Seattle have improved so the Halos and Tribe will have good challenges this year.

    So, hope to see a few good Division races this season, apart from the NL East, of course. Let's Go Mets!

          Rangers will lose a lot of games, AGAIN
          Just believe and you never know what will happen.

          According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                      Detroit will be hard to stop this season, they have an awesome lineup. Cabrera is going to dominate

                            Tigers have an out of this world offence this season. The addition of Cabrera puts them pretty much above any team in the MLB.

                            Only problem is their pitching. Expect to see lots of high scoring Tigers games this season.

                              Aye.

                              Bonderman fell way below form toward the end of last season.

                              I still think Verlander should start more games. He has an ERA of something like 3.60.
