      Are you referring to road racing, my French friend?

      Track cycling is proper cycling though too.

      I'm supposed to be going track cycling at the end of this month with the kids. I might have to pull out though as it's a bit too risky for a man of my advanced years.

      Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

          Yeah, there isn't only one 'road race' as regards cycling.

          Being born in 1902, I'd advise you to stay in your 'wheel' chair.
