For Summerslam, see the criticism I made for Mania. Too ****ing long. Better matches which made people, mainly two. The big stage should be about elevation and cementing top stars.

DELETE or DECAY was just as good and mental as the first Final Deletion.

Way different in tone, but still has all the balls out insanity. Well worth a watch.

WWE Doing a UK Championship with a title and live shows. View to doing a weekly live show on the Network.

What with that and the return of World of Sport at Christmas, things are shaping up nicely for UK wrestling fans again

It's in Blackpool! I knew we'd made an impression on them when NXT were here last year!

            Ringside tickets booked!

Yeah, they were surprisingly cheap! I've bought tickets for both shows, can't wait.

                  Okada v Omega

Think that was the best wrestling match I have ever watched. Just phenomenal.

Did any of you watch World of Sport wrestling then?

Yeah, thought it was a bit crap really. Bit Butlins compared to whats done nowadays. Was OK, but I cant see it catching on.

The crowd reminded me of Gladiators

Looked like there were only about 200 people there. Very low rent.

It was filmed in a TV Studio I think and the tickets were given away for free. So itll probably reflect that I guess.

Its a shame, because British Wrestling is going through a bit of a boom period in general. Its far more athletic than its ever been and people knowing what it is, means people seem to enjoy it more.

I guess you wont be interested in General. But checkout PROGRESS and ICW. Both UK promotions with a good following. PROGRESS especially is rapidly expanding. Its got a decent aesthetic.

Obviously not everyone will be interested, but its far less of a joke to the general population now than it was even 5 years ago IMO.

You're probably too young to remember the original Saturday afternoon WoS wrestling

I've heard that there is a resurgence - I know a couple of people bang into it, one even competed for a while himself.

It was great... but is Okada's finisher really a short clothesline!?

Yeah. It doesnt look that devastating. But I guess its how its used?

His spinning tombstone looks pretty cool though.
