    Funny that table didn't break

Something's going to have to give now though, 2 face champs?

Aye, that was a properly botched landing, could have done himself some real damage with that.

lol. It was just a bit lame and there were nowhere near enough genuinely good match-ups for the biggest ppv of the year. I dunno whether the writers were just relying on Taker-HBK making the whole event or what, but it shows where wwe's at currently with the only genuinely decent match of the whole thing being between possibly the 2 oldest people on the roster (or maybe not, but close).

With the exception of Cena's ridiculous and unintentionally hilarious entrance, I can't think I anything else this morning that was at all noteworthy.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among

Went to a mates to watch it, was very very disappointed.

MITB was ok, botched moves everywhere and as much as I like Punk, I thought MVP should have won it.

Battle royale/Kid Rock ****fest was a waste

                      Hardy's was very blah,

Jericho match was ok, Piper's dropkick was brutal, seriously he should not have been allowed to do that

I don't care for Rey really, his act is stale. IC title devalued, this can be rescued though. Stick Rey and Evan Bourne against each other and let em rip

Taker/HBK - classic. Excellent match. Those two set the bar and the main events did not follow.

Title matches sucked, Cena's win was predictable and with HHH/Orton being on last and Vince's nature of sending the fans home happy HHH's win was easy to call.

Austin's pop was awesome though, he didn't say a word and the crowd went mental. Speaks volumes that.

Prediction for Raw tonight, Orton complains about HHH using the sledge thus getting his rematch.

I was so disappointed with the main events, and the MITB match I forgot to mention that Steamboat was excellent. He saved that match, and it was a real pity that the crappy Micky Rourke ending took the gloss of it.

I also liked Matt Hardy's finishing move using the chair

Thats expected from Steamboat - he still teaches wrestling whilst Piper has two plastic hips and Snuka must be in his 80s. It was a lame punch from Rourke. Could have been better.

I didn't realise that he teaches, I had heard somewhere else that he had been retired since the 90s. He was excellent though, a real class act.
