There's a tournament to decide who takes on Orton at Night of Champions. The bracketing was HHH vs MVP and Cena vs Miz. Here's how I see it having watched the PPV and saw the almost muted reaction to HHH/Orton. Why not Have MVP pick up a win here? HHH vs Orton has been done a million times and its clear the fans don't really care. MVP is on the rise and if he gets a win here, how credible does it make him look? Very is the answer. But no, that's not allowed to happen so HHH wins. Hunter looks knackered too, there's no reason he should be challenging again. He winds me up at times. The WWE need to be pushing new stars right now, but He won't let them. Next weeks Raw has already been taped, done some old skool inviso text for those who care at the bottom of the post. Million Dollar Man will be guest host next week!

There's also been a mini trade. Mark Henry, Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger A. Fox and Gail Kim are on Raw, Matt Hardy, Finlay and the Hart Dynasty head to Smackdown and Goldust, Shelton Benjamin, Regal and the Bella's head to ECW. Donald Trump apparently did all this

    SPOILERS IN INVOSTEXT!

Million Dollar Man has his son take on Orton - Orton wins

Swagger and MVP are heading for a fued - they're using a storyline I saw written on one of the popular wrestling news sites - being honest and talking about MVP's criminal past. He says he's done his time and changed, Swagger says he won't fight a crim.

Evan Bourne beat Kofi, Big Show attacked both after

The finals of the torunament between Cena / HHH ended when Legacy interfered. Ted Dibase senior then made a triple threat for Night of Champions, yawn

My god wwe's main event scene is seriously dull. I know I say this pretty much weekly, but what the **** are they doing there, seriously?

Orton - HHH - Batistaroids - SuperCena = Massive yawns. Orton's title reign could actually have been interesting if done well, instead its just been one huge snorefest and everyone's bored of it. Raw is a mess. I can see why they've done that swap, I guess Swagger will add something (although I hate his 'gimmick'), could be a decent programme with MVP, although the other moves leave me a bit cold; world's fatest man is the worst wrestler since.... well ever, and I just don't buy Evan Bourne. Like zomg he does a shooting star press, never seen that before - he'd be less than average in the X-div imo.

Plus I've been very unimpressed with the way they used Gail Kim since her return, she's by a mile the best female worker they've got. Should have stayed @ tna, their knockout div is amazing currently, Daffney and Taylor Wilde have been doing some great spots and it's only going to get better with Victoria there (sorry, Tara), Sarah Stock debuting soon and them apparently letting Melissa drop the Raisha Saeed gimmick. Unlike in wwe when Diva matches = piss breaks, they're tearing up, really good to see.

At least TNA have maybe goaded wwe into doing something with the tag division at last, Edge/Jericho with the belts is something at least and the Hart Dynasty are pretty over, they'll get a push on Smackdown I imagine. Benjamin to ecw? Waste.

Smackdown is very much the better show, the Rey/Jericho matches have been excellent. CM Punk turning in to a smarmy heal is good too, Hardy is just Hardy then you've got the likes of Edge and Taker waiting in the wings.
        We come not to play.

True, its much better, apart from R-Truth's entrance. And anything involving Kahli

Jericho is a top heel, not very fresh like but he's good at what he does. Ray, well, he's no Mistico anymore is he, but he's had some much better matches this year than last. Jericho's good to work with I imagine.

Punk is ace, some of his ROH stuff was awesome, wwe will be on to a winner if they really give him some freedom. I'd like to see a bit more to his move set though.

Jeff's contract's been up for question, talk of him wanting a break rather than wwe not wanting him to resign.

I'm sure his fued with Kane will be a right winner

The main even scene does need a right polish though. New stars need t obe pushed alongside the likes of Orton, that's why on the Raw side I'd love to see MVP get in the title race. Fans like him and he's developed into a damn good wrestler and good act.

Smackdown is by far the better show. CM Punk owns it at the mo. Huge fan of his and really happy they're showing faith in him. He's gonna get over with this smarmy heel angle big time.

Edge/Jericho as tag champs is fine with me (although I did want it to be Christian), but there needs to be more tag teams, they're breaking up the Colons so they need more teams to make the titles mean something

I agree about the Diva matches and Gail Kim, I can't believe how much she's been shafted since rejoining. TNA's knockout division is miles better.

Batistaroids made me laugh love it

so far so good. David Smith is a bit of a beast. Natalya is good for what she does too. They work nicely together, need a push though. With Edge out, they could do with dropping the tag titles to the Harts or Legacy and go from there.

well nowhere near as big a fan as some in here - but i watch it now and then and being ill last week meant i watched it more than normal - so for a relative 'non-follower' it's been pretty ****

For me, i like orton - i think he is a good charactor, a good heel and does his role well and seems a 'worthy' champion and what i have seen of him and dibaise/rhodes together has worked well - but give it a rest with triple hhh coming back all the ****ing time for more - even to me, someone who prob watches it once every two-three weeks has gotton ****ing bored of triple h now. I'm glad cm punk seems to have stepped up a bit, he is one of the wrestlers in wwe with a bit of personality and they really need to push him and few other fresher faces through and get some interesting stories going other than triple h gets revenge alll the ****ing time. I liked cena but they seem to overkill his charactor and i reckon cena turning heel could save the show a bit - maybe a tag match cena/hhh vs orton/someone else and cena to turn on hhh and **** him everywhere, putting hhh out of the picture for 6 months - also what happened to Mr Kennedy??? he seemed to be a good prospect that has been quiet of late.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Mr Kennedy was released from the WWE, he just fecked up too much in the ring, the straw that seemed to break the camels back was when he almost injured Orton, cue Mr McMahon - YOU'RE FIRED!!!
                          We come not to play.

Kennedy came back from injury in a blaze of promos, botched a move in his first match against Orton... and then requested and was given his release the following day. Very strange really given the fact he was being pushed, unless it was a "wellness violation" of course. They also released Umaga suddenly too.

I'd expect Kennedy in TNA not long after his "no compete clause" is up if he can stay fit.

Orton's a good actor, but they've booked his title reign really badly (see Shayne O'Mac single handedly beating all of Legacy up) and made him look too sniveling imo.

Everyone is bored of TripleH. He'll be around until he beats Flair's title record though

Cena as a heel won't happen imo, they've not got enough babyfaces who are genuinely over with the kids currently.

Totally agree mate, Kennedy will be in TNA as soon as the 90 days are up. same with Umanga Taz is debuting soon too

They need some new stars in WWE big time, Cena SHOULD go heel, but as you stated, won't. Losing Edge will be a blow, maybe Christian could team with Jericho?! Punk/Orton are the right champions right now. Punk especially. I loved his, "Just say no" line to Hardy. Jeff still ain't committed to a new contract do I doubt we'll see him win at the PPV. If no-one saw anything of ECW they debuted a bunch of new talent including Sheamus, (Sheamus O'Shaunessy as he was known over here) he's ready, big time. HHH needs to stay out of the title picture for a while too. Bonus points for Million Dollar Man on Raw tonight!
