She is one fine POA no doubt about that. Raw needs Maria again

Ricky Hatton looked like a Brit abroad in with all them tanned folk. Should have stood him next to Sheamus!

He seemed nervous did our Ricky. Not sure why. Raw still was a bit **** like

Apparently (I haven't seen it yet) TNA's Turning Point was possibly ppv of the year, mainly down to Angle v Wolfe (Nigel McGuinness) and AJ/Joe/Daniels. Some of the marking over those two matches on the net today is quite something, and supposedly the rest of the card was reasonable enough too.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

I've heard those 2 matches were amazing. Apparently the Wolfe/Angle match would have gone down better in ROH, but hey ho. The rest of the PPV was a bit cack from what I read. Really want to see those matches though

Is Hogan working miracles already? Only a few months away from him rolling out the Fingerpoke again

Having just watched it through, the rest was decent in parts actually and mostly watchable. Match by match....

Red v Homicide - this was quite good, gotta mark for Red
TBP v Speed Queens & ODB - worth it for the "Lacey Von Botch" sign in the crowd
Beer Money v Brits v MCMG - Best 3 tag teams around but this was a bit average as it had the only overbooked finish of the night.
Tara v Kong in a cage - this was ok, slow start but a decent spot or two to finish
Steiner v Lashley - better than it could have been. Glad Lashley lost at last but not sure why to Steiner
3D & Rhyno v Pope/Hernandez/Morgan - This was ok too. Pope is going to be a big star and Morgan has got a lot better imo. Strange result tho, not sure where this angle is going.

Nothing amazing there but mostly perfectly tolerable. The main events though were stunning.

Angle v Wolfe - Every bit as good as Taker v HBK @ WM. Almost a flawless pure wrestling match, holds, counters, appropriate spots and great psychology, it was real quality.

Joe v AJ v Daniels - Matched, and possibly even surpassed their 2005 effort.Yeah it was spotty but it was also absolutely brilliant. MOTY without a question.

TNA is stacked with talent right now, if they can just lay off the sillyness and keep pushing the younger guys there's a hope for it yet.

Hahaha. During the main event there were a lot of "who wants Hogan" chants.

Lacey von botch hahaha love it. Can't wait to see this PPV now. TNA has the talent and hopefully it will find the direction with the young talent. If they do, then we have a contender! I'm missing Survivors cos I'm off to London the day after so won't get to see it til later in the week. Ah well!

Survivor Series on tonight, MrM, are you watching? I think johnly might perk up at 12.55 as usual

Here's a question: pick your dream Survivor Series team but they has to be a running theme through all of them i.e. past ECW wrestlers -Tazz, RVD, Rhyno, Raven

"Through me the way into the suffering city,
Through me the way to the eternal pain,
Through me the way that runs among the lost.
                          Justice urged on my high artificer;
                          My maker was divine authority,
The highest wisdom, and the primal love.
Before me nothing but eternal things were made,
                          And I endure eternally.
Abandon every hope, ye who enter here."

                          And like that… he's gone

Haha I was watching a bit, but I'm off to London today so had to miss most of it. Mate of mine will download it and watch it when I get back

What I saw was good though. Kofi has been positioned as a real player

There's definitely a problem amongst a lot of the older (80s generation) of wrestlers, whom I suspect dabbled in steroid abuse in order to build their physique. With the US Government really looking into the whole industry, I suspect there are more checks from the big organisations - not sure about the indys. I know the WWE has the Wellcare (I think) program which checks and monitors drug usage in every wrestler. I wonder whether what they would do if Cena or Triple H were caught with anything?
