Ugh, that stuff was all plain offensive. They really need to just sack all the writing staff and employ people who understand the product, not people who think they're funny and write utter dross like what's been on over the past months. If Cena wins the title back next week that'll be a proper joke

Jesse Neal was given a verbal lashing backstage at the "Final Resolution" pay-per view for taking an unprotected chair shot during his match. He was lectured for not putting his hands up to protect himself from the blow.
What was the spot like MrM?

It was hilarious, Hernandez absolutely ****ted him with it, looked proper vicious, he took it right to the skull. The seat was badly bent afterwards

Joe, you really have to watch the 3 falls match from the ppv with Wolfe and Angle. It was one hell of a display of proper wrestling, fantastic match. And AJ v Daniels after it was damn good too.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.

Really was boss, especially well done with the different styles they used for each fall of the match.

My only gripe was the way Angle climbed the cage at the end, I hate the way they do that in wrestling, any fool can see the door is so much easier to get out

                    The Hitman returns next week.

Bret vs Hogan, WWE vs TNA live on Jan 4th. As Hogan says, its on Brother

I'd be incredibly surprised if Impact does 1m on Monday. I watched Raw live last night and this week had something I had not seen in ages - a sense of direction! especially heading into Wrestlemania. The promo between Michaels and McMahon could have been much better - where was the pop? I still think a lot of the idiot kids who think Cena is Hogan don't know who Bret Hart is and what sort of legacy he has within the wrestling business.

Impact are banking on Hogan and Sting returning, I don't think it will be enough and ironically enough on Raw, there were some Impact like finishes especially the main event and Triple H saying to Jericho, 'this time you can't come back to Raw for good' - how does the next time make it different to this time?

They never can keep a stipulation going haha. But you're right, Raw did have some direction. It was slightly disappointing that there wasn't an even bigger pop for Bret, but as you said all the kids aren't familiar with the history, there's possibly some who may struggle with the early days of Rock/Austin. Even Vinny Mc said that "some may not be familiar" with Bret. I'm sure though when The Hitman walks out and that music hits, it will go off.

TNA will struggle despite the big names coming in, the supposed NWO reunion and the potential of RVD appearing. I'll watch both, but I can't wait to see Bret again, one of my favourites of all time without a doubt

I'll have to record Raw next week because I have an interview on Tuesday. Can someone balance i.e. not Mr Michael tell me whether Impact is worth downloading on Tuesday....

So I guess you didn't watch New Years Knockout Eve Joe?

I might download it like, seeing as Hamada owns and appears on it 3 times. Roxxi broke her ankle which is well unfortunate, she's a talented girl. Shame Alissa Flash was out with an injury too.

However, although it was kind of a random show concept, what with mixing the top 3 matches of the year in with a knockouts-only show, really that was a landmark for women's wrestling, first time a major promotion has done an all female programme on mainstream tv.

Apparently the first 2 matches confirmed for the 4th were revealed in the show.

ODB v Tara for the "knocked-up" belt
Hamada/Kong v Speed Queens for the tag titles. This could be really good, more up for that than DX v Jerishow.
