Its not. HBK wants a rest and spend some quality time with the family. He will be doing more of a part time role in the future.

I hope HBK doesn\\\'t disappear completely, he can do a great role with the company without getting in the ring every week.
He has been semi retired for at least five years now. He doesnt do the international tours and wrestles for at most six months in a year. Great servant, stuck with them during the rubbish years and a consummate professional, besides shagging the boring Michelle McCool (yuck)

Anyone watch NXT? Its so much better than the poorly constructed, sucky ECW product which WWE thought was better. The best part however is their press release:

Syfy and World Wrestling Entertainment® today announced the competitors on WWE NXT, a new hybrid live event/reality show featuring eight popular WWE Superstars (“Pros”) mentoring eight WWE “Rookies,” premiering on Syfy Tuesday, February 23, at 10PM (ET/PT). These Rookies, who are learning the ropes, are athletes who epitomize pop culture and personify strong attributes – they are opinionated and aggressive – which means inherent conflict between Rookies and other Rookies, conflict between Rookies and Pros, as well as, conflict between Pros and Pros.

What the heck is that supposed to mean? The best part was Michael Cole playing the heel commentator, burying the internet when Bryan Danielson (stupidly called Daniel Bryan) was performing against Jericho in the main event. THATS WHAT ALL THE WRESTLERS DO IN THEIR SPARE TIME.

NXT was great. Well put together and it made a star out of Daniel Bryan overnight. Great match with Y2J too

On an unrelated note. Check this

Kia Stevens (Awesome Kong) filed a lawsuit against Todd Clem (Bubba the Love Sponge) in Hillsborough County Court, claiming she was threatened by Clem over the phone.
            Clem denies the charge.
Stevens claimed she recieved a phone call at 5:08 a.m. on 2/10 from a blocked number, recognized the voice as Clem, who she alleged threatened to "sucker punch her until she stopped breathing" and said "You'll be dead like all those other n****** in Haiti you fat black bitch." Stevens said she called AT&T, who refused to identify the number.
She said the caller identified himself as Bubba the Love Sponge and threatened to come to her house. She said he also said, "What d'ya think about that, Monkey Kong? What? Those big fat Jimmy Walker lips ain't talking **** now, huh?
Clem responded, "This morning I was made aware of allegations made in a petition for full bill of discovery by Ms. Kia Stevens, a professional wrestler with Total Nonstop Action Wrestlng. The allegations in this petition are 100% false. To be clear, everything contained in this petition is not true. Ms. Stevens attributing outrageous racist staements and physical threats to me is disgusting."
"We can prove without any doubt the allegations made in this petition are flase. First, Ms. Stevens claims that she was called on the air at 5:08 a.m. on 2/10. We are not even on the air until 6 a.m. Eastern time. We have phone records and eye witnesses that account for my every movement that day from 4:50 a.m. forward. No call was made to Ms. Stevens at all"
"We will be pursuing all legal remedies available to us in the State of Florida to fight these deliberately malicious allegations."
Stevens attacked Clem backstage last month at tapings, furious about his remarks, saying "**** Haiti," after the Earthquake, a few days after she had participated in a fund raiser for victims of the Earthquake. From live accounts, she started throwing punches at him until pulled off.

                  Monday nights. Its on brother

Well, not really, the last few Impact's have been among the worst I've ever seen (ok some of the 2007-9 era were just bizarre, but bizarre is more entertaining than plain dull). Still, I'm sure they'll have a few surprises for tonight (RVD anyone), although half the show will probably be hyping Hogan and Flair's zimmer-frame rules match.

Undertaker was never really a favourite of mine although I liked him as the American Badass when him and Kane killed everyone.

Two weeks ago, Impact had a show which featured 12 minutes of wrestling. ON A WRESTLING SHOW??!!

Last week, Impact had Wolfe, Pope, Styles and Abyss for the title. WHY?! Isnt Pope-Styles the title match at the main event? Killed the feud already.

And the main event for tonight is Hogan/Abyss - Flair/Styles. Flair was blooded last week, why should I watched Impact this week?

In terms of traditional booking, you have the faces being attacking and build up for the big showcase match where the face gets his revenge over the heel. Why should anyone watch Impact this week then? Russo and his marvellous booking with run this show to possibly 1.3 downwardsa. Although Impact did finish on a 0.9 last week.

Should be interesting tonight. Cena vs Vince on Raw and on TNA live on Monday's we got Flair and AJ v Hogan and Abyss. Plus Jeff Hardy is there and maybe RVD. At least it'll make more fun viewing than that awful sorry excuse for a football match I just watched.

I seriously doubt it. Impact sucks really badly. TNA can throw as many people as they want but when Hornswoggle is getting more ratings than TNA, the **** has really hit the fan. I dont want to see segments of Foley going to finishing school and Jarrett doing some plumbing. Its so goofy that I hate TNA. Im fine with WWE doing a bit of goofy comedy with Cheech and Chong since they put over a reasonable product with twice as many viewers and with reasonable, \'sensible\' booking but the dross on TNA is so cringeworthy that I shout **** YOU when TNA finishes.
