The Rock could wrestle too. He wasnt just a talker. Him and Austin had some epic matches.

He might not be up there with Michaels, Taker, Benoit or Angle in the day. But he could definatly go.

Wrestling has not been about the matches for a while now.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Professional Wrestling is meant to be entertaining hence the over the top characters. Austin and Hogan who reached the pinnacle had about 4 wrestling moves (kick, punch, suplex, leg drop/stunner)

The Rock as a character is right up there, he's no Michaels, Angle, Hart, Benoit or Guerero but who is.

If you want to watch technical wrestling then you should watch either the amateur wrestling or smaller promotions like ROH.

Back to Orton not only is his character boring but so is his wrestling style, no surprise when you have crap like him at the top ratings are poor. Give me the entertaining Rock and Austin every day of the week.
      We come not to play.

I wouldn't recommend that. Some of the guys at ROH can only wrestle in the indy style. There are some in ROH who are very, very good like Davey Richards, Castagnoli and recently Danielson but some of them are ARGH!

And BLANDY BORETON can **** off.

He is going to host Wrestlemania, not sure he will be on Raw or Smackdown shows up until then, except for the odd promo?!

He did say he was here to stay also so I hope he sticks around longer than Wrestlemania....

I might have to watch the last 20 mins of Raw again, it was epic.

Doubt he's there to stay. He had a huge tiff with Vince after he left because it wasn't on Vince's terms. They made up in 2009 and Vince thinks now is the best time to bring him back because Wrestlemania looks ****.

Card so far for Wrestlemania is: (white text)
Triple H v Undertaker - HBK Special Ref
              Cena v Miz
              Del Rio v Edge
              CM Punk v Orton
              Corre v Nexus
              Michael Cole/Alex Riley v King

I was talking pure wrestling ability. Triple H cant wrestle that well compared to those guys. He can do it well. But those 4 were the best of the modern era.

Nah. It puts the stip into overkill. Besides The Rock has nothing besides some verbals at the moment with those two. Unlike the other one mentioned in my previous text who has history. I think he'll interfere and do the People's Elbow on one, if not both of them.

Taker? Really? He's a good wrestler for his size but you need to see his earlier stuff where he lacked co-ordination. Surely Guerrero, Storm or Jericho would be a better shout?

I cant think of anyone other than Taker that has put on consistantly good matches over as long a period he has. Guerrero and Jericho are both amazing in there own right. Storm I can really comment on because Ive not really watched much of him.

But yea, Id argue that Michaels, Taker, Angle and Benoit were the best of the out going generation, consistantly. The other two are just outside IMO.

                          Its all subjective though.

That was Danielson's first match in the WWE - look for it on Youtube. It was a good tv match. I think most of the internet will jizz collectively at a feud between CM Punk and Danielson.

I think that's a bit revisionist, if you don't mind me saying. Sure he is a very very good worker but he's had just as much **** matches as he has had excellent ones. For the ****, watch (or don't) Summerslam 94. For the excellent, it's Shawn Michaels last year or previous.
