Opinions of the Rumble?

Thought overall the show was great.

Styles/Cena was fantastic, enjoyed Reigns/Owens as well.

Rumble itself was a little underwhelming although I was pleasantly surprised with the winner, especially considering who #30 was!

Yeah, thought it was a really good show. The Rumble seemed to me to be good fun. I dont really get the Reigns hatred at this point. He constantly has enjoyable matches and usually his other stuff is good.

Stroman and Corbin looked great I thought and the Goldberg/Lesnar stuff was perfect

Weird that Rollins was no where to be seen though.

Yeah the lack of Rollins was very odd.

Personally, I don't mind Reigns that much. Like you say, he's been putting on consistently good matches for a while now. I think a lot of it stems from just how much he was rammed down people's throats in the run up to the last 2 Wrestlemania's.

Seems to me like they're heading for a feud with Strowman though - whether that's for the title remains to be seen!

I bet we see Reigns v Undertaker at Mania too.

He was rammed down everyone's throats I guess, but now every time he is seen its loads of boos. Same with Cena. That bloke works as hard as anyone and has turned into one of the best wrestlers in WWE (Just look at his US Open challenge matches) and he still gets booed by the fans that think they know better.

It's not looking good for my network sub. A Wrestlemania where the headline matches are Cena v Orton, Taker v Reigns and Goldberg v Lesner has snoozefest written all over it.

I'm hardly watching any WWE now... and that doesn't look likely to change.

I 100% dont belive Cena v Orton will headline Mania. No chance in hell would they go back to that again. Itll be against Bray somehow I think.

Which is a shame, because that's the best one of those three matches.

It's not looking good for my network sub. A Wrestlemania where the headline matches are Cena v Orton, Taker v Reigns and Goldberg v Lesner has snoozefest written all over it.

FWIW I think Goldberg/Lesnar has been built perfectly - it won't be a classic by any means but I don't think it'll be long enough to be boring.

Reigns/Taker could be interesting if they turn Reigns heel. Which they seemed to hint at, at the Rumble.

Orton/Wyatt has been built well so far - be interesting where they go with it.

Can see them doing Cena/Styles one more time which after their first 2 encounters, I'd be more than happy to see.

Jericho/Owens has to happen too.

Throw in a couple of women's matches, IC title ladder match, battle royal and Rollins/HHH I can see it being a decent Mania.

Rollins/HHH has the potential to be amazing I think. Especially if he keeps throwing NXT guys at him or something.

This program they've been doing with Goldberg & Lesner would've been amazing if it was Joe instead of Goldberg. I've got no interest in seeing a rematch of the worst Wrestlemania match of all time. Goldberg looks like hes going to tear a quad every time he moves.

Undertaker looks completely finished to me, the hip operation has done for him. It was sad seeing him like that at the Rumble, hobbling around, out of shape. He'll be doing a short job for Reigns I would think... I've no interest in seeing that.

I just hope they pull their fingers out and add something interesting, because the big sweaty part timers are of no interest to me.

Not to make anyone jealous but I've got tickets to the Rev Pro show in April which includes KUSHIDA, Kamaitachi, Goto and best of all, ELITE

They run great shows every three months at York Hall. Sabre v Scurll was an awesome 40 min match recently and Shibata v Matt Riddle (#bro) match. In November, I managed to see this brilliant Chris Hero v Ishii match which was stiff af.

They should get 20/30 mins based on their history and their work rate. But we'll need our customary concert in the show which kills 20 mins itself. Maybe The Rock can come and scratch his arse and milk it for 30 mins and beat up any number of jobbers

Wrestlemania hasnt been about good matches for a while now. Its about the spectacle and what big match ups they can squeeze in.

I love it, but I know its not for everyone.

Missed out on tickets for Progress 44 yesterday as their ticket system **** itself. But ill try again next time.
