There's two crackin' lineups tomorrow. Harrington/Montgomerie v Woods/Furyk and Clarke/Westwood v Mickelson/DiMarco. Both should be crackin games.

Was there yesterday and saw Ray Houghton slumming it with the rest of us plebs

I can't wait. I'm going to get up extra early. Hopefully Mony and Harrington show Furyk and Woods how match play should be played. The only draw back is that I've got work tomorrow.

That's where it's won but you can't beat getting points on the board early. If Monty and harrington can take the point against Woods and Furyk then the doubt will set in very early for the Yanks as it did when the same pairing beat Woods & Mickleson last time.

With the players he has at his disposal we should be as competetive as ever but when you look at the Yanks they're equally as strong, if not stronger!! I think we can win this though just like we have the previous 2 Ryder Cups.

To be fair I never thought that Langer would have been as inspirational as Torrance but he helped us to win it last time. All of the captains have different qualities and I'm sure Woosnam has some that some of the others before him didn't and at the end of the day it's not down to the captains it's down to the players.

Faldo is to be our next Ryder cup captain and that concerns me because most of the European team think he's a dick.
