Great golfer and a great Ulsterman!

Just about kept myself in check! Sniffs

He's been a star over the three days, but wasn't the only one.

Shame USA couldn't made more of a fight of it, they've been embarrassingly bad. Nonetheless, Europe

****ing fantastic win. I felt rather emotional for Darren as well. You'd have to have a heart of stone not to have felt any sort of emotion after that. Delighted for Woosnam, the European team but most of all Darren Clark.

Thought Lehman was a little OTT, but no one can accuse him of being anything other than magnanimous in defeat.

They also mentioned on Sky that Darren and his 2 kids are Liverpool fans and were at the West Ham game this season

It's true that he's a red. When we played in the F.A. Cup final against West Ham he arranged his tee off time for early in the morning and hired a helicopter to get him to Cardiff for the match. L-E-G-E-N-D!!!

Fantastic win the Europe, and a magnificent atmosphere yesterday afternoon.

Clarke did superbly well and I was very emotional towards the end, like most others I suppose. So pleased for Woosie and the rest of the team, just a shame the Yanks were so poor at times!

Great venue, great support and great golf from the Europeans!

I bet Woosie led one helluva piss-up last night!

I was hoping for a closer contest on sunday.

                              Bit of a let down.

Surely an event as one-sided as this was an anti-climax?

What I also don't understand why it's the Americans against a whole continent. How can you get patriotic about that?
