I understand your initial reaction but he was 200m World Junior Champion when he was only 15 years old and that event is for under 20s.

He's considered a freak of nature because he also ran under 46 seconds in the 400m when he was 15 as well. He could be dirty but my point is he's been running rediculous times since he was 15 years old.

        Here's the 9.72 video:

Apparently only the 5th time he's ever run 100m!?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

            He's a 200M specialist.

All sounds a bit dodgy if you ask me.

I haven't enjoyed athletics for years as I think they're all cheating.

The only solution for a level playing field is to make them all take drugs.

All this talk of him being a 200m specialist isn't quite true. He hasn't been racing at the highest level to establish himself as a specialist in any one race. At the juniors he ran 200 and also ran in the one and four relays. He thought the 200 suited him better, but given that Gay beat him in the Worlds at that and has a PB over a tenth of a second quicker, it's fair to say that Bolt wasn't settled as a 200 specialist. He's 21 and just finding out exactly how good he is.

Some guys are just naturals when it comes to running, he might be the short-run equilliant to Haile Gebrselassie, who has set 25 world records at different distances from 1500-marathon!!

Will only lead to the one with the "Best Drugs" winning, but then again that seems to be happening anyway

I fear a spate of high profile athletic deaths is imminent

I can't stand Athletics any more. It's a ruined sport.

I know why you say that but I can't stay away, can't wait for the summer season to kick into high gear.

                          Were the drug references deliberate?

Either way it sounds like you're addicted.
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Just seen in the news, that he only participated in the race as a practice for the 200m and 400m events at the olympics.

Nice bonus on a practice run I would say
