That Stone Cold Steve Austin rant to kurt angle was the only bit of wrestling I've watched since ITV and Dickie Davis stopped covering it. It was VERY funny though. What?

WWE was superb until the Rock & Austin left.

Since then it has become too predictable imo.

The old days was the best when you had hogan v warrior, Bret "The Hitman" Hart v British Bulldog, Undertaker v Jake "The Snake" Roberts

                        it's just mindless entertainment,really...

tho its true that some people take it way too seriously

i remember watching Letterman once when The Rock wsa his guest; he asked him :

"whats the biggest mistake that a young wrestler might mak when he's just starting out?"

The Rock's answer was a bloody classic : "that he thinks he's actually going to hit someone"

                            It's for losers
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My housemates and I used to watch it when we were at uni. The 'glory days' of Stone Cold and The Rock. We used to piss ourselves at the ludicrous storylines and funny catchphrases. It's an accepted fact that we were a right bunch of losers.

There's an element of reality to it, in that they do jump off the top of cages and throw each other about, of course. The bouts and moves are preplanned and rehearsed, but the injuries (and occasional deaths) are real.

There's a really good documentary called 'Beyond The Mat' which describes some of the dangerous, seedier sides of the 'industry'.

If you have to watch wrasslin', N.W.A. T.N.A. may be a better choice. They're trying to stay away from the bizarre non-wrestling angles.
