    UFC Bedlam

    Anyone watching this?
All the live fights have been entertaining so far, even if there has been some controversy.
Bisping about to fight now, hope he looses, cant stand the prick.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Another shocking stopage by Dan Miragliotta in the Vera vs Werdum fight. Twice in 7 days for that knuckle head after the Kimbo vs Thompson fight. I hope the UFC keep him away from their high profile match-ups in future!

I don't understand all the Bisping hate. I've met the guy and he was a very likeable dude, he was hugely impressive again tonight and seems to have really found a home at 185lbs. Jason day was 4-1 in his last 5 fights in the UFC, his only loss coming against Patrick Cote after coming in on 2 weeks notice. I'm interested to see who they give Bisping next. Maybe Nate Marquardt or the original opponent here, Chris Leben?

Nice to see Matt Hughes get his face smashed in again, i guess Jesus wasn't in his corner this time. If he loses to Serra in his next fight then he really should knock it on the head before it gets embarassing.

GSP vs Alves looks like it would be a cracking fight, if GSP can get through Jon Fitch...which won't be easy.

Am i the only one who is getting fed up with all the title belts being locked in limbo because of The Ultimate Fighter TV show? Rampage hasn't fought for an age because of the filming of it. Now Big Nog has his title in limbo because he's coaching on the next season against Frank Mir. How Mir gets a title shot after beating Brock Lesner and losing his 3 fights before that, i'll never know.

He is well more suited to the Middleweight division alright

I took a big disliking to Bisping the way he carried on in the Matt Hamill fight, Matt proved he was the better fighter at light heavy and also the better person by far.
Even when Bisping went to his corner between rounds he was ****ing and cursing at his corner, I just didn't like his attitude
In the Ultimate Fighter reality TV show, I thought he and he came across very arrogant.
I would love to see him fight Marquardt or Leben. Bisping says he could take anyone in the division, how about Anderson Silva  for the record, I don't think he would last one round against him.
Dan Henderson is another you could put him in with to give him a real test.
I agree about Hughes, he should pack it in after the Serra fight, I think he will be of the same opinion too mate. Can't see him wanting too many more fights against these tougher, hungrier stronger new breed of fighters.
GSP and Avles would be a cracking fight surely GSP's toughest to date if it goes ahead, it seems though that BJ Penn has put himself on the radar there too. Maybe BJ could do with another fight or two at Welter Weight before he takes on GSP though to acclimatise again.
I agree about the Ultimate fighter Reality TV show too, too much emphasis is on this TV program, if you do well on the TV series it catapults you into the limelight and then it seems that a title shot is not far away in the horizon.
I honestly think too, the longer Rampage goes without a fight, the better a chance Forrest Griffin has of beating him.
Mir as you say, does not deserve a title shot, what about fighters like Arlovski? although it does seem that he is now the forgotten man in the UFC, such a shame.

Arlovski has just anounced a deal to fight for Affliction. Thats Fedor, Sylvia and Arlovski in their heavyweight division! I can't wait to see Fedor fight Sylvia and Arlovski, it'll be interesting to see how he measures up against top class opposition, instead of the cans he's been fed for the the last 2 or 3 years in Pride and then M1 Global.

Yeah I read that the other day, also read that some people don't think Fedor will fight, something to do with his contract.
Would be great to see them fights though. I could even possibly see Fedor getting beat against one of them two guys. So long as they can keep up a good take down defence.

I'll say it quietly.....i think Tim Sylvia will beat him when they fight in july. Fedor has been ducking him for years.

              Sylvia by decision.

I think you may be right mate, a 100% focused Tim Sylvia is one heck of a tough opponent. Although he has been beaten recently by Nouigera as we know, I would be surprised if Fedor could keep him on the ground should the fight happen.

Spot on - can't stand Bispin coz he's got no class. Got battered by Hamill and got a home town decision and acted disgracefully during rounds & after the fight, got battered by Rashad and again was a sore loser afterwards saying he won the fight as far as he was concerned which he clearly didn't. This is the one thing that really attracted me to MMA - you've got people bashing your brains in and beating you to within an inch of your life and you rarely ever hear any anomosity afterwards with fighters maybe disagreeing with decisions but always respectful towards your opponent

Wouldn't worry about anyone showing arrogance as I think you need to have a degree of this in MMA, usually adds to the hype ..... agree he looks awesome at 185 and good luck to him but not sure I'll ever warm to him TBH

Completely agree as he is a very difficult fighter to come up against but he is quite literally the most boring fighter on the planet - I really struggle to even watch his fights, no matter who he is against. Very effective fighter though and if he connects you'll know all about it

I know I might sound like I am picking on Bisping a bit. TO be honest I dont care lol.
Did anyone see him taking the mic off Joe Rogan at UFC Bedlam, Rogan kept trying to take the mic back, but Bisping was doing his own thing.
It feels like he just has no class, and is not humble enough. I am not sure if he is aware that he is not the most popular with some people, but it would be something I would be paying close attention to if I was him.
I think sometimes after watching yourself on TV too, you may realise that hey, was that really me being a prick?
Much like Matt Hughes realised after his first series on the Ultimate Fighter. He has actually made a conscious effort to be a better person when he realised fans of the show thought he was a prick.
I didn't like Hughes at first, but I think he is alright now.

Hughes was worse on the last season of Ultimate Fighter, forcing his team to read the bible, what a ****!
