Four days of golf plus the 18 play off hole it was incredible to watch only when you could think that tiger wont be able to pull it off he did and under what circumstances.

This man is pure class and a Legend I think once he passes 18 majors and many more to come he would be the greatest golfer in the world in my eyes having achieved the milestone and having broken so many records.

But he won this title under great discomfort having come from a knee surgery no match practise whatsoever and you see how much pain he was in.

Absolute Legend and greatest golfers of all time.

To have two months off and come back and win the US Open is astonishing really.

Hmmmn, maybe he should play every major on one leg? It kinda evens out the competition...often wished they'd done that when Michael Johnson was in his prime in the 400m, and given everyone else a 20m headstart.

but he is a ****ing legend, just an amazing player, surely it wont be long before he is hearlded as the greatest of all time.

Yeah, even better when you consider he buggered his knee again halfway through the first day.

I have to say though this week Woods played some of the worst golf of his career. How many Fairways did he hit all week. That he could play so poorly and still win just goes to show how far ahead of the rest he is. The greatest Sportsman of our generation (or mine at least as i was 17 when he broke on the scene.

Spare a thought for Lee Westwood though. A great effort. I reckon a major could be just around the corner for Lee.

I played last night......well.....played and played. It was fairly disasterous, until the last hole which was a 500 metre par 5. I had driven like a woman all round, including the 18th, managed 200 mters off the tee, I was really pissed off with the round to the point I pulled out my driver for the next shot and stuck it to within 1 metre for a tap in Eagle

Yeah, I've just had something of a mixed bag. Took a 10 on the second (my course starts with 2 par 5's) after getting stuck in a bunker for 5 shots. Fortunately 1 putted when I finally got out. The trippled another par 5 when I was putting for par. Came out with 98 somehow though, to be honest my general play wasn't too shabby at times, and made the final green (another par 5 at 520) in two before unfortunately 3 putting again and only taking a par on it.

What can you do. 4 holes ruined todays card and I think high 80's would have been a fair score.

My putting is pretty shambolic to be honest. Its one of theose things that no matter how much I practice it just doesn't seem to work. I'm on to putter number 3 in a few years now, using a Ping Redwood Forged. Its working better and i'm no3 putting as much but that doesn't say much.

As for my bunker play, normally not bad. I was just unlucky to get stuck just below the lip on a rather steep bunker today. The bunker itself was like playing on the beach. In the end the only way I could get out was to play backwards, which I should have probably done in the first place.

Where do you play mate? Tough course or fair?

I cant play very well but ill average around 30 putts a round.

The other shots are spent in trees or on the wrong fairway.
