As for my bunker play, normally not bad. I was just unlucky to get stuck just below the lip on a rather steep bunker today. The bunker itself was like playing on the beach. In the end the only way I could get out was to play backwards, which I should have probably done in the first place.

Where do you play mate? Tough course or fair?
My short game is as good as it gets really, its very rare for me to 3 putt. Its shame my long game wasnt the same standard, if it was I would be a scratch golfer. I can play both right handed and left handed.

I never practice putting myself, I tried once and it made me worse. If you want to practice just go and hit a max of 20 puts, as lack of concentration causes bad habits. A couple of things with putting. Line up, Pendulum swing (same distance back and forward), try to keep the hands in line with the putter head on the follow through.

I live in Norway nowadays and golf is in it infancy here. I play courses in and around the stavanger area. My home course is reasonably young, the club are making it tougher every year, with subtle changes to holes. I began playing golf on links courses, I love them there is nothing more testing than playing a links course in a strong wind

i watched tigers final round on sunday and have to say what a game not just by him but roco and lee westwood aswell, for a chance of a 3 way playoff ont he final putts is worth the wait....

thought tiger was soooo stupid playing so soon and maybe now he will pay for it but i doubt we will see him again for atleast 6 months, his knee to a pounding over the weekend and the way he plays puts exstra presure on his knees...

my shot of the tournie was in the playoff 18....

i think it was the 15th were he drove into the bunker on the right and hit a 4 iron out the bunker and put it 4ft from the hole and roco sank the curlin birdie after the tiger super shot lol.....

wont see another game of golf like that for a long time

oh and i played yesterday aswell had the round of my life shot a 81 on a par 71 was chuffed to say the least and my pb since i started playin proply

Enjoy it mate. Weather isn't great up here at the minute but hope you have more luck than I had today. I take it you will be spending a night in Whitley Bay while you're in the area
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

US Open champion Tiger Woods will miss the rest of the season to undergo surgery on his injured left knee.

That means Woods is ruled out of the Open at Royal Birkdale, Ryder Cup and USPGA Championship.

"It was important to me that I disclose my condition publicly at an appropriate time," Woods said on his website.

"Now, it is clear that the right thing to do is listen to my doctors, follow though with this surgery, and focus my attention on rehabilitating my knee."

The website also stated that Woods needed time to recover from a Double stress fracture of the left tibia in his leg which were "attributed to Woods' intense rehabilitation and preparations for the US Open".

The 32-year-old has made the decision to undergo surgery on his left knee just two days after winning his 14th Major by defeating Rocco Mediate in a sudden-death play-off at the US Open.

Thought it was silly for him to play more damage than good. Although got me playing golf again beat my mate who plays off 8 in scratch match play.

That's bad news. Maybe America will win the Ryder Cup now.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
