10-8 Gomez, great round for Gomez, Khan getting caught with the left hook on the jaw, Khan being pushed back, silly guy. Gomez has been cut on his left eye.

10-9 Khan. Action packed round, Khan back to his usual game, fast hand speed, good combinations however he does seem to be open to the odd left hook from Gomez. Gomez still is badly cut but well in this.

Khan 10-9 Khan getting a bad body shot on the right, brilliant hook from Gomez but brilliant combinations from Khan throughout. Khan seems to have a busted nose and is hurting on his right side of his body, Gomez looks tired towards the end of the round, Khan should fight on the outside, he has had better succession of punches.

Its over. Khan brilliant in this round. Gomez fought hard, he is one durable ****er but I still don't think he is ready for a world title fight. Sack Fwank Warren!

Amir Khan has David Diaz, Joel Casamayor, Nate Campbell, Juan Diaz, Yusuke Kobori, Michael Katsidis, Manny Pacquiao, Julio Diaz, Yuri Romonov, Jesus Chavez as his competitors in the world championship bracket. I wouldn't put him in the ring with them, he still has a dodgy chin and needs to be schooled on that. Technically he is brilliant, don't get me wrong but he still needs to learn.

What a fight that was!! Superb stuff - a real brawl and Amir khan deserved the win overall.

Maybe he should be put in with a true world class performer - may get the best out of him?? But on the other hand he has no chin and his power is just not there for me.

On the positive is there a fighter with quicker hand speed anywhere in the world? A very exciting journey Khan is on and Frank Warren will want a few more local sell outs before risking his fighter against the best.
