Volleying at the net is ****ing hard. I used to play a lot and was pretty good - big serve and good groundstrokes from around the baseline.

But could I volley? Could I ****. Either out or into the net.

Also found drop shots very difficult. Played them, or tried to, far too often really.

Drop shots are an absolute killer, i watched venus for about 20 minutes today and she missed all 6 of the ones i saw!

volleying is a bitch as well!

I was good at drop shots, although most of them were by accident as I put so much slice on my backhand.

That's another thing. Had such a weak backhand. Ended up remedying it to some extent by going for a two-handed backhand. Made a big difference although everyone told me it was a **** idea.

Hard to get right but very satisfying when it comes off.

I liked the big forehand passing shot down the line. Just sucker your opponent into coming to the net and then bang!

Worked about 1 time out of every 5.

Nadal getting a good run right now by Gulbis 5-7, 6-2, 4-5.

                  Very tight so far.

Murray up next. Another tricky match for a seeded player - Malisse is no mug on grass.

Nadal and Gulbis locked in a close battle.

                          I'm back!!

Safin was ****ing immense yesterday! Although Novak was all over the shop!
The fed was just pure class!
Also had watched abit of Gonzalez on the outside courts.

Met Venus Williams when she was on the way to the practice courts and Jamie Murray (who was sweaty as **** ) Also watched Hewitt practise and Sharapova and some other randomers i didn't reconise.

Also met the Greg He was doing some interview, reviewing the matches or summit, although he was reading from a script

The real question is that did they work out any percentages for you?
