    Joe Calzaghe's super-fight with American great Roy Jones Jr will now take place on 8 November.

    The undefeated Welshman pulled out of their scheduled 20 September show at Madison Square Gardens after injuring his right hand in training.

    The light-heavyweight fight has been rearranged at the same venue.

    Calzaghe, 36, and Jones, 39, are both expected to bring an end to their illustrious careers after the bout in New York.

    Calzaghe, who has ruled the super-middleweight division for almost 11 years, was due to start a media tour of the United States next week until the injury occurred during his first training session in preparation for the planned September showdown.

    Jones, an eight-times world champion in four weight classes, won a unanimous decision over Felix Trinidad in his last bout in January

    It was always going to be rescheduled, Joe has a fortune to gain by making this fight, and after the extra time gleaned by the 'hand injury' they will be able to promote it better.

      'Hand injury' is the best way of phrasing it.

                You should take a look at your own posts first then, you post in every boxing thread yet I dont ever remember you having a decent debate with anyone. You tried to ruin the Cotto thread but your drivel got deleted, you posted a load of irrelevant stuff from another forum in the last Calzaghe thread, so maybe you should add something decent if you want "intelligent debate"?

                You whinge about people having a go at Calzaghe yet never post anything to try and change peoples views.
