                Sort of.

Did my Captain give it away?!! I will never forget how he inspired a Pakistan team that was all but out of the 92 WC to go on and win it. At a time when his mother was dieing of cancer. Amazing man and a brilliant allrounder.

                    You're joking arn't you?

Gilly is the greatest keeper/batsman of all time. He was awesome in his pomp. If it wasnt for Healy being as solid as he was for so many years (and having mates in high places) Gilly would of been around for alot longer

also Waqar Younis was a better bowler than Akram.

Nope, I'd like to see gilly opening the batting. Whenever he moved up the order he was poor.

Of course he was better. No contest.

Gilchrist averaged 47.60 in Tests, Stewart 39

Yeah but Gilly for the most part batted further down the order and so I would imagine got a lot more not outs. When he batted higher up the order, his average was a lot lower. Stewart also played in a very poor England team which would not have helped. They must have had a dark cloud of doom above that team.

Do you remember his back to back test hundreds in the Windies? Class

I know who I'd rather watch bat and it isn't Alec Stewart.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
