Your all time ODI Cricket XI

    Mine is:

    Jayasuriya
    Saeed Anwar
    Ponting
    Dravid
    Gilchrist (wk)
    Botham
    Kallis
    Pollock (c)
    Wasim Akram
    Waqar Younis
    Murali

    Beat that!!!!

12th man is Boom Boom Afridi!!!!!

Honourable mention to Sachin (see Milkys post below). Just not enough memorable matchwinning performances IMO - Dravid gets the nod.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Yes, I even selected a couple of wicketkeeper-bowlers.

I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Whose the captain? And do you have a wicket-keeper in there?

                        Marshall

                        That'll do nicely

Runs at the top of the order, world class middle order, big hitters in Flintoff and McCullum, Classy players in Imran and Hadlee then big hitters at the end with Warne and Marshall.
Bowling: Warne - the greatest spinner IMO, Hadlee & Marshall-give NOTHING away, Flintoff and Imran in support.
