Fair do's to Monty, he's got heart.

        and that'll be it then.

Haye has the makings of a top heavyweight. The division is there for the taking and Haye has it all.

You really think he's got a chance against either of the Klitschos?

He has a glass jaw too, fairplay he destroyed Barrett, there isn't a lot happening at heavyweight at the moment so he could be lucky and win some titles if he avoids the Klitschos

Definitley, he's quick as hell and those jabs are super heavy.

True, but he is a class act. He's done alright at cruiserweight considering he has a glass jaw.

The hype is ridiculous he's only fought 2 fights at heavyweight and neither opponent was very good and he only ever fought 3 decent fighters at CW and Carl Thompson beat him. He's coming into the HW division at the right time as there aren't many decent fighters

Looks like they'll be fighting early next year. April or May.

The physical differences between Haye and either of the Klitschkos are huge. It'd make a cracking fight. Haye would need to hit and run as there's no way he could trade with either of them.

These guys can hit and you're right, Haye will have to throw one and move out, but he has the speed to do that. He'll need to work on his stamina though, he looked a little tired then.

Mormeck was a genuine class fighter and double world champion. Haye got up off the floor (so much for the fabled glass jaw) and destroyed him. Fragomeni was no slouch, and he was badly cut in that fight and stepped it up to finish it. Maccarinelli's a clown and got the inevitable. But Haye looks good at the weight, he has quick hands and both of them are pretty heavy.

Wladimir Klitschko has had trouble with quick hitters in the past (Corrie Sanders in the most hilarious example), and I'd fancy Haye in that. Vitali is a better fighter than his brother. Both of them like to take their time though, keeping fighters at arm's length. Haye has good reach for his size (only just shorter than the Klitschkos) and throws well outside and in with either hand.

He doesnt beat Vitali imo, no way. Vitali has an immense chin and is just brutal coming forward himself, I could see him bullying Haye all over the place. And Haye wont nick rounds on work rate because thats not the way he fights. Vitali knocks him out here, goes 7 at most I think.

Wlad is different, his chin isnt great and as a result he's cagey as ****, just trying to control fights with his jab. I think he has to much nous to swing wildly and let Haye catch him, he just wouldnt be that wreckless, but I think its possible for Haye to get in, get a few shots off and get out again, the key is not to keep getting caught with that jab, because while he might be cautious at times if he gets Haye in trouble he'll finish him off.

Id go with that summary, Haye could do great things in this terrible division at present but just as likely he will get blown away by a real heavyweight.

Thats what makes watching him so interesting.
