    Lesner vs Coture

Lesner weighed in bang on the 265lb limit
    Coture weighed in at 220lbs

I'm hoping that Coture kicks Lesners ass tonight. No way should Lesner be getting a shot at the heavweught title after 3 fights in the UFC.

There are a lot of people disrespecting Lesnar, but you have have to hand it to the guy. He's huge, powerful, and dangerously quick around the ring. He's a fantastic athlete.

His last fight was awful but I think he was making sure he didn't make the same mistake he did against Mir. Once he gets the balance right between using his explosive attacking style and his ground and pound I really think he'll become unstoppable.

That said, I want Coture to win but I think this is too close to call. Lesnar won't burn out if it goes the distance, he's too fit and Randy's age has too catch up with him sometime. Lesnar is also a phenomal wrestler but he's still short on experiance in the octagon, Randy has been there and done it all before...many times.

    It should be a cracker.

UFC 91 Results - Brock Lesnar stopped heavyweight champion Randy Couture in the second round of their UFC 91 fight on Saturday night. Lesnar earned a technical knockout when the referee stepped in as he kept punching after Couture went to the ground.

Hasnt he had very few fights before this though?

Seemed to burst straight onto the scene and suddenly he is having a world-title shot.

this was his 4th fight, lost his first and won the rest, very quick to be champion!

not really sure, as he used to be a wrestler people wanted to see if he could cut it against the big guns, which he obviously can. the man is a beast

Lesnar connected with a huge elbow early on in the 2nd round that rocked Couture, then later in the round hit him with a glancing shot to the side of Couture's head that put him down again and then just hammered him until the ref stopped it, not a classic fight but a massive statement for Lesnar to beat a legend in UFC and claim the heavyweight title in only his 4th fight.

Will be interesting that in the UFC unification title fight he could end up fighting Frank Mir the man who beat him in his first fight if Mir beats Antonio Nogueira next month
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

2 UFC fights wasn't it? Won 1 lost 1. Absolutely disgraceful how he's been fast tracked to fight Randy, but you have to say he he never looked in trouble. He rocked Coture with a couple of hits and you wouldn't think that he would land more hits than Randy.

People have been running Lesnar down but I think he'll keep the heavyweight title for a long time. There's far more to him that people want to accept. I don't like the fecker though. I'd like to see him fight Fedor Emelianenko (if the UFC can get him) next, his speed might get through and he could well knock him out, but the weight difference is the main thing.

                          $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

He's a huge draw because of his WWE background.

Agreed. He's been excellent. Flying under the radar up until the weekend. Due a title shot now.

Damian Mia[sp] is another to watch out for. Brazilian jujitsu expert. Has a real chance at the middle weight title.
