Thanks. I do try although I can't leap as high as I used to.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

      Phil Taylor just won
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Ultimately a slightly disappointing final IMO, although of course Taylor was phenomenal.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The key to the expected final is gonna be Barneys ability to keep that check out stat higher than Taylors coz he sure as hell aint gonna out score him and be in a position to dominate
            I thankyou....

Missed doubles cost Barney, and as I said Taylors scoring was never gonna be in question

Aye, Taylor was always gonna outscore him but if Barney hit the doubles he'd have had a chance, dont like someone losing 7-1 in a final.

Oh I dont know... I really enjoyed Taylor hammering Manley 7-0 the second time around

That was some display, ok Barneys finishing let him down when he had the darts, but ultimately on form like that Taylor was always going to win this one.

Almost every time i hear or see Phil Taylor he either says or does something that leaves me thinking..'what a sound guy he is', it's uncanny.

A more modest bloke you'll probably never meet, always got a good word to say about his fellow competitors, so long as they put the effort in and don't put on airs...speaking of which, how did he react when beating King? I recorded the semi-final, but it cut out about 10 minutes before the end of the match...looked like there was bad blood there, and King seemed to use delaying tactics alot??

A sportsman who's been at the pinnacle of his sport for so very long..and yet has retained his 'ordinary bloke' like personality.

Didn't see the end with 'King', but Taylor isn't slow to fight his corner (verbally) if he thinks someone is in the wrong as far as playing the game go's.

There is bad blood between the two

King is a prick of the highest order, thinks because he is the self proclaimed King that it should entitle him to be the best around.

As Phil always says, if you put in the hours there is no reason you cannot be as good as him or better. FFS the man did four hours practice on Christmas Day

put in a few rounds with the turkey too the wee fat ****er

what a win - barney practices 10 hours a day.
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

As advised to do by Taylor after their very first match to decide the best of the world Champs BDO or PDC

Bear in mind that it is effectively their job so ten hours per day doesnt fall too far outside of the hours that a normal job for any of us would require
