Its crazy not to rate Mayweather as best pound for pound in the world, but I'm just not excited by the prospect of him beating up on DLH.

I dont think De La Hoya and Mayweather will ever be a realistic prospect due to Mayweather senior bieng De La Hoyas trainer. Well atleast we know Mayweather senior doesnt want to see it happening, I think it could be a great fight though.

yes floyd was one of the best around at super-feather and lightweight respectivley but since he's moved up the weights he's cherry picking his opponents. he's ducking margarito prefering to fight sure bets like gatti, mitchell and judah. i'm not doubting his skills but they guy has a big mouth and very little heart. de la hoya would beat floyd mayweather in my opinion.

when floyd start fighting serious fighters and taking challenges like he used to then i and other boxing fans will take him seriously again.

As for ducking Margarito, when has this happened? Floyd's had two fights at welterweight, Mitchell and Judah (Mitchell to get his bearings and Judah to win some belts - and he made Judah look a right **** in the process). Floyd's next fight *should* be against Margarito, but you could make a claim for him fighting Baldomir, or Hatton, or Cotto or anyone with a bit of class between 140 and 147lbs.

The next level for Floyd is having wars, which is exactly why I'd like to see the Margarito fight; their styles could clash spectacularly. But it's up to Margarito to raise himself for any war 'cos Floyd has nothing to prove.

And Winky Wright pound for pound champion of the world? That's just nonsense.

no he doesn't viciously beat men up. he's a good fighter but i'd love to see when he viciously beat men up! he is a great boxer no doubts but he's not the invincible that some make out. he'll lose his 0 pretty soon.

see i don't fall for all this media bollox that surrounds fraud mayweather, and nor do a lot of other people for that matter. to be the real P4P#1 you have to fight and beat the best not fighters coing off defeats.

well we'll never know if floyd would knock him out because floyds to busy running away from him. still floyd can live safe in the knowledge that he's P4P#1! when he starts taking on people who represent a challenge to him, like he did in the early parts of his career, people will start to take him seriously when he claims to be the best.
