    Six Nations Thread

Good start. Bergamasco at scrum half was hilarious. Well done Wales, looking impressive. No idea why the Scots kept knocking themselves out cold though...
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Heard about Bergamasco playing at scrum half. What on earth were the Italians thinking?

This thread has really taken off.

Obviously not many rugby fans on the site.

Great win for Ireland on Saturday. So satisfying to finally beat the French. Sets us up for a shot at the Grand Slam this year.

Welsh will still win it even though Scotland had a late resurgence.

The Wales vs Ireland Game looks like it will be the clincher. Evening KO - Must stay sober enough to see the screen....

Surely England have to become something approaching a team at some point? It's sad to see the way we are at the minute. Lots of decent talent, although obviously no Johnson or Wilkinson type stars but no cohesion at all really.

Ireland made the start they needed. Wales remain favourites I would think.

It may all come down to the game in Cardiff between Ireland and Wales.

England team are I think a bit too young to make much of an impression this year. They have some talented backs who do lack height which might be a bit of a problem.

Wales should beat England tomorrow, France will hammer Scotland and Ireland will sneak past Italy.

Sounds about right except I expect us to do more than just sneak past Italy. I think we'll beat them quite convincingly.

Getting really excited about the game tomorrow. For the first time in ages, I reckon Wales are favourites to beat England.

Hopefully, the whole thing will go down to the last weekend.........Wales v Ireland

Rugby really is silly. You can't see why the ref is blowing for offences half the time. And that ref was a homer - as bad as Mike Riley at Old Trafford.

Still, Wales were much better than England from what I saw (which was the last 20 minutes of the first half and the first 20 of the second).

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I don't see the point of scrums these days. Basically it seems the ref tosses a coin before hand to decide who he is going to give the penalty to unless a fight breaks out.
