haha, this thread never exactly took off.

Anyway, i searched for a rugby thread to make this point, there are a hell of a lot misbehaving rugby player stories about at the moment.

Most of it booze related violence, but drugs mentioned at one club too, Bath i think.

Does'nt exactly help the Rugby players act like grown ups Footie players act like kids argument.

            Bloody roughians!

Yeah, when the rugby players get in bother, they do it properly, it seems!

Anyone follow Rugby League? Some of my wife's extended family play it, but I've never really got into it.

Big league fan myself, followed the Warriors for ages. It's a great spectator sport.

Union is a fantastic game. They made me play it at school (no footy ) and I hated it) but at Uni I started drinking with the rugby chappies.

Then training with them - I was pretty fit in those far gone days.
Then they insisted I went to watch them.
Then one day the *******s insisted I play - saying no would have led to me being tarred and feathered and left naked tied to a lamppost in a strange town.

                    Or worse.

Played regularly for 2 ish years and have a bent finger and one missing tooth for my troubles. It was a laugh though.

Played touch rugby with some serious rugby dads yesterday (I was the only sober one on the pitch) buggered my knee and am bruised all over. I think I was on the pitch for less than 15 minutes.
