It was a great fight, but i don't see Froch being a champion for long if he doesn't learn to keep his left hand up....basic stuff and quite shocking really!

Froch has one helluva chin though. Great performance by him.

Great fight, very exciting towards the end. Froch has a great chin, and great heart, but cant help but think his lack of defense will soon cost him big time, now hes stepping up in class.

Was looking at The 'Ring's' top 5 rated Super-middle weights, which are:

            5. Taylor
            4. Mudine.
            3. Andrade,
            4. Bute.
            5. Kessler

I think Froch could beat all them, with the exception of Kessler.

Froch is too slow, poor defensively, physically not strong enough and although he does have a good chin against Taylor who isn't a big puncher he got caught out although fairplay he did get up and beat Taylor. Luckily for Froch the super-middleweight division is pretty shocking at the moment and I can only see Kessler (who hasn't had a decent fight since Calzaghe beat him, he's only fought and beaten Häussler and Sartison who are both shocking fighters) and Bute who is looking better everytime I see him, giving Froch a decent fight. In fact for me Bute is the best fighter in that division.

The knockdown will certainly help Froch, will show him his not indestructible and hopefully he and his coach will work in this part of his game. Lets remember he's only had 25 fights and most of which in Nottingham, this experience will no doubt help him, i personally think he's going to get better.

Its a dead weight division with people starting to use the super middleweight division as a springboard to get to light-heavy or cruiser.

Dead? Its gonna be one of the hottest divisions in boxing over the next 2-3 years, providing the politics are avoided and the fights are made.

175 is the dead division, its Chad Dawson, an Adrian Diaconu who's fought no one and a Bernard Hopkins who's inactive and flirting with the weight, thats basically it. The rest are ready for a retirement home. Dawson has been speaking about coming down because unless Hopkins fights him there no decent fights at 175, its ****e. Super Mid is gonna be class for the next few years, Bute, Andrade, Taylor, Froch, Kessler and Abraham will be there within a year as he's killing himself making 160, Pavlik will have no choice but to step up if the opponents run out and theres plenty of classy prospects like Ward and Jacobs.

I simply don't enjoy watching Bute or Andrade however Abraham is phenomenal to watch.

Personally, I find the light and welter the better divisions to watch.

The two best divisions in boxing at the moment.

If Hatton can land a big one early then i fancy him, if not then Pacqiao on points.

I fancy David Haye to beat Klitschko who doesnt throw the right hand anywhere near often enough for me, Haye to get inside his jab and win on points

Khan on points - i think the selection of opponent has been perfect and Kotelnik doesnt have a reputation of being a big puncher, Khans hand speed over the distance should give him the win
