Federer marries in hometown

World number two Roger Federer has married his fiancee Mirka Vavrinec in
his home town of Basel
, Switzerland, he announced on his website.
Federer met Vavrinec, a former top 100 player, in Sydney in 2000 and she is expecting the couple's first child.
In a brief statement, Federer said it was a beautiful spring day and anincredibly joyous occasion.
